I use the following js but the display of element remains blank.

First line does work if there is a value when the form opens.

Please do three things:
  • Fix the indentation in your code example to accurately reflect the strucutre of the code. Wonky indentation is almost as bad as none at all.
  • Show us the snippet of HTML to which the code refers. Otherwise, we just have to guess as to what the classes apply to.
  • Tell us what you are tyring to accomplish. The code in the change handler makes no sense to me. What are you trying to do with it and what, specifically, is not working?
