Hi Atendra, welcome to JavaRanch.

The Ocpjp Faq should be able to help you. It has details regarding the exam, preparation material etc...

Welcome to Javaranch. If you are new to Java programming, I would recommend you to learn the basics first and then prepare for a certification.

Hi Atendra,

First of all, a warm welcome to the CodeRanch!

You should start with OCAJP7, because that's the entry-level certification. So have a read of the OcajpFaq as a starting point. Also have a look at this thread. It's also a student trying to get Java certified.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel
