I'm about to purchase couple of PDF books from Manning. There are certain titles that are interesting to me, but they are in the MEAP program. I have the following questions:

1. I understand that the books chapters are made available as and when they are ready. Will I keep getting these incremental updates once I purchase the book?

2. Will I get a complete PDF copy of the book once it is fully ready?

Has anyone got any experience buying MEAP books from Manning?

I had a look at the MEAP FAQ's. Looks fine for me. I think I will go ahead and purchase the ones that I need.

The link Jaikiran has provided will tell you all about it. But the answer to question 1 and 2 is Yes and Yes. Additionally, if you've chosen to purchase the pBook as well then you'll receive a copy of that in the post once the book is complete and it has been published.

Yes, I got that. I will be the stupidest person on earth. I got an E-Mail from Manning support that I can avail 50% off on all of their books. I was so ******* absent minded that I completely missed the promotional code while checking out. I'm now trying to see if I can avail it post purchase.

Rookie error

Perhaps cancel the order, then order it again with the promo code.

Is there a way to cancel the order? I do not see any option to cancel the order in the confirmation E-Mail that I got right after purchasing.

Looks like eBook orders are non-refundable. So I have to live with my mistake. Schade!

Just in cased you haven't noticed, when you buy a print book from Manning, you also get access to the e-book for free. Obviously this won't apply to MEAPs, as they're not yet in print, but if you think you might want both the print and electronic version of a book that is already in print, then you only have to pay for the p-book if you buy it first.

That's an excellent point Chris, I had forgotten about that. I really like that service from Manning, it's a real shame O'Reilly don't do the same.

How would this help me with the **costly** error that I did when purchasing the MEAP e-book!
