Welcome to Javaranch!

To my knowledge there is no specific forum. What sort of Homework is that? I'm sure it will be connected with a specific technology and you have a lot of forums focused on a specific technology where you can post your questions.

Hello Thomas, welcome to the Ranch!

We don't have a dedicated forum for homework questions. We certainly don't have a dedicated forum for 'do my homework for me' questions. But you are more than welcome to choose any forum that you feel suitable for the particular question you want to ask, although I suspect that Beginning Java and Java In General would suit your needs.

You'll get the best results if you keep your questions focused to a particular problem you are currently facing, rather than asking broad non-specific questions. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions, and start a new thread for each question.

Happy learning!

Joe,

It's Java, I just started the class Sat. I have the strings right but I'm trying to get the Double to work for the gross pay.

Tim,

I'm here to learn, I do not want anyone doing my homework it does not benefit me. I'm just stuck on how to set and Assign a double FedTaxWitholding that gets the Fed Tax Withholding = Gross Pay * Fed
Tax Withholding Rate.

Do I need a string for Gross pay?

Please start new topics in the Beginning Java forum for your questions.

P.S. It's a good idea to point out when something isa homework questions. That way people know not to throw advanced solutions at you that you may not be ready for yet.
