Hi Mates,
As far as i know there are two SOAP messaging styles.
1) RPC
2) Doc style

If we use the RPC style then SOAP xml will be serialized and will be written in network stream.
After transported the xml to server, server side stub will de-serialize that.

Consider we are using a different technologies like Java in client side and .Net in server side.
In this case we are serializing the xml using java, then how could it will get de-serialize by stub generated through .Net code?

Please help me. I confused a lot.

Thanks in advance!
Uday

The whole point of XML is to have a text document that can be read and parsed by any language or even edited as text.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the reply.
But it still i am having some doubts.

I understood. XML can be read/modify by all languages.
But we serialized that before transport.

My doubt is about de-serialization.
How it will be done in server side in case of different technologies ?

Clinet : serialized by java
Server : De-serialized by .NET -> Is it possible to de-serialize the object which has serialized by java?

Please help. I am new to web services.

Thanks.
