Hello, I am attempting to use Selenium with http://cstress.net/skype-resolver/#first using the following code:

However, running it does not work as intended. I believe the text is entered properly, but the button is not being clicked properly because of how the website is formed I believe it uses JavaScript. Would I have to use a chrome driver then?

Logan,
Welcome to CodeRanch!

Some JavaScript does work with the HtmlUnitDriver. You do have to set driver.setJavascriptEnabled(true); so it knows you want to.

I can't believe Microsoft/Skype defaults people's IPs to public. I've just turned this off for myself.

Haha yeah it is sort of strange. Thank you though, works like a charm!

That's weird, using the site skype-resolver.org I was still able to get my ip after enabling that setting. That site uses a different api than the other sites. Interesting

My understanding is that they use the last known IP. Which means that they get the IP you were using before you turned it off. Bad Microsoft!
