Hi all,

I need to develop a graphical "editor" for so called petri nets (different boxes connected by lines, see picture at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fe/Detailed_petri_net.png).
I realized those boxes (circles and rectangles) as labels and have a mouselistener on each of them so I can drag and drop each box easily.

Now my problem: I would like to select multiple of those boxes at once to drag them to a new position all together.
Any idea how to do this? I'm happy for any suggestion, whether they need to be selected with Ctrl pressed one after the other or by selecting an area via mouse that contains them.

Example: In the picture linked above - say I would like to select T2 and P4 and drag them together a bit further to the right.

Any ideas anyone?
Thanks a lot and don't hesitate to ask questions

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
