Failed to write core dump while starting Apache Tomcat on Beagleboard  RSS feed

I'm trying to run Apache Tomcat 8 on beagleboard clone (DevKit8000). I'm getting following error :

Board specification:
  • Processor: TI OMAP3530 microprocessor with 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 RISCCore
  • 256 MB DDR SDRAM, 166MHz

  • System:
  • Linux beagleboard 2.6.28-rc9-omap1
  • The Angstrom Distribution Angstrom 2010.7-test-20110220

  • Java version:

    As far as can see, the reason for your error is contained in the first line, viz:
    "Core dumps have been disabled. To enable core dumping, try "ulimit -c unlimited" before starting Java again."

    But maybe that's not what you were asking about...
