Can anyone please spare me some info regarding the book "Professional Java 2 Enterprise Edition with BEA WebLogic Server By Peter Zadrozny, Paco Gomez " .
I am planning to take up the BEA Weblogic Certification. Just wondering if the above book will cover any of the Certification Objectives.
Thanks for you time,
Regards
Hari

I agree, the pizza book doesn't really cut it. The best sources are really the pdf files you can download right off BEA's website http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs60/pdf.html
I print them, and then take them to Kinkos to have them bound.
For writing servlets and ejbs, I've found the wrox book "Java Server Programming," and the O'Reilly book "Enterprise Java Beans" both to be invaluable.

For what it's worth I will soon be reviewing the Gomez/Zadrozny WLS book for the JavaRanch Bunkhouse, so I'll let you know when it's available on the site.

I am also trying to prepare for the Weblogic 6.0 Certification exam. I am printing http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs60/pdf.html to read. Are there anything else I have to pay attention to?

Joe: Is this O'Reilly's "Enterprise JavaBeans" written by Richard Monson-Haefel?

Yes, that's the one. I have the second edition, printed March 2000.

Sorry for being novice, where can I get the BEA Weblogic Certification information. On first scan didn't find any on the website.

How do they get the deer to cross at the signs? Or to read this tiny ad?
