I purchased the Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates OCA/OCP Java SE7 book. For my exam studying I am looking to find a table listing what elements (classes method instance variables ..) the Non-Access modifiers can be applied to

More specific what can the following:
Abstract
Final
Native
Static
Strictfp
Synchronized
Transient
Voliatile

Be applied to

Thank You.

Remember java is case-sensitive, so these non-access modifiers do not exist but could be used as valid identifiers.

For the OCAJP7 you also don't need to know all these non-access modifiers in detail. You (of course) need to know these non-access modifiers (when written correctly, all lower case) are java keywords and thus you can't use use them as identifier. Only in-depth knowledge required for non-access modifiers abstract, final and static.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel

Sorry about listing in with first letter in caps. I knew they were keywords in lowercase but too much time putting list together in PowerPoint I defaulted to list them with in CAPS
