Hi list, good day,

I have never used Hibernate, but actually I need to develop an application with this framework with Java and Oracle. My question is, will I find examples of Java + Hibernate using JPA implementation? or there only theory inside the book

Best Regards

You can replace MySQL used in the sample application with Oracle. The book is very low in theory and has a hands-on approach with lot of code examples. Hibernate annotations are avoided and mostly all code is as per JPA 2 spec.
