Hi experts , I have a lot of records in excel around 2000 rows and it can be more so what I am looking for is that I need to show this records in the web for front end user. I want to feel the user that it is the same as excel but web based so he can filter rows , highlight rows or columns and export whatever filtered
by him . I have one sample photo for that program ( called IPCS ) , I am using it now but I need to make same like that in JSP or anything using java I can do it.
please have a look at it , is it possible I can do this in java in general

This is a huge, huge, huge, undertaking. Can you not just use Google Docs, or something like that?

Take a look at DataTables. I think it can do what you are looking for.

It's rarely useful to show that much data at once. Be sure you give the user the ability to filter the data down to what's being searched for, and providing paging for keeping the amount of data at a reasonably digestible level.

yes I will do that for sure but I want to know which one is easy to understand for biggeners.. I have tried dojo and Ext4 which they are difficult to understand due to weak documentation for biggners to learn

can some one tell me other than that easy tool for sorting , exporting , paging , and filtering.

thanks a lot

You can use JQuery data grid . It provides pagination, sorting , exporting and filtering with the look and feel of an excel table.

As has already been suggested, with a link, earlier in this topic.

Be aware that this requires a yearly license of from $200 to $900 to use.

Ya, I know, that's why I have added keyword "commercial" in my earlier post.
I am using JQWidgets in my current assignment at work.
