Does that mean a moose actually comes in?

And that was a smallish, probably fairly young, moose.

Having run into one in the wilds in Maine, I can tell you that a full-grown bull moose is enormous!

Here in Ohio, we have deer crossing signs. When I was in Maine, it was Moose crossing signs. Just saying --

IBM in Manassas, VA had a deer crash through a window in the very early morning hours. It was quite the mess. Apparently, it saw its reflection in the window(s) and charged. I suspect the same of your moose. Although I recall a story of traffic in Anchorage being delayed due to a collision between a pickup truck and a bear.

A bit rambly this morning.

Regards,
Robert

How do the moose and deer know that's where they are supposed to cross? I didn't think they could read.

That's what they want you to think!
