Hey, so I started learning Java a couple of days ago and tried to make a simple user-input thing. Here's the code.

Because I'm new to this, it's showing quite a few errors and it's not totally easy for me to understand. If you could pick them out, I would be in debt.
The program is a simple user-input program for joinging like a dating website thing in which you input your gender, then your age and on those basis it chooses the next line. Simple.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

First, welcome!!! We're glad you found us.

Next, I removed the color formatting (ick!!!) and used code tags instead. almost everyone here agrees it's easier to read this way.

Third, when you get a bunch of compiler errors, only worry about the first one. Fix it, then re-compile. often fixing one will make the rest disappear. It may then give you a completely different set, but that's ok - you're still making progress.

So post here what EXACTLY the first error is. It could be any of about 1000 things, and all we can do is guess unless you tell us the exact problem.
