How long does it take to learn Rest?  RSS feed

Is this something that can be understood in an hour? a day? a year? I see the term "RESTful" a lot in jobs ads, but I'm not sure how intimidated I should be by this.

RESTful APIs are a common standard/convention for how to communicate with a back end. You can learn about those conventions pretty quickly. Beyond that you are expected to know how to create services that follow those conventions. This becomes "how well do you know the libraries you use." For example, Spring provides annotations to help.

Rest also refers to web services.

It is quite easy , experience with webservice can be added advantage..you can start with simple examples available in google search but should know the APIs to become master on this subject. try below hope this help...
