Welcome! (I guess )

Quick question..... how does this compare to the study guide for SE7 by (i think) Finegan?

Regardless, am thinking about switching to this and SE 8, just because I think its pretty awesome to be so active helping people as an author.

Wouldn't even want to win the book!!

Nick,
You are thinking of the McGraw-Hill study guide by Robert Liguori and Edward Finegan. I haven't read that particular book. I can say some key differences (Based on Amazon) are:
1) Different publisher
2) Covers new topics in Java 8.
3) Two more practice exams
4) Flashcards

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
