I am getting outOfMemory error in my app.So is it good way to increase the heap using LargeHeap=true.

I'm no Android expert so can't comment on "LargeHeap=true", but, I would advise you to be sure that your app's memory usage is legitimate and check that you don't have a memory leak. If you have a memory leak, then increasing the heap size is just putting off the inevitable.

Instead of increasing heap you should investigate why your app use so much memory.
Are you using large Bitmaps?
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
