Hey guys,

I'll take the exam this month (19th), I'm doing an average of 80% on enthuware mocking exams. Is this enough or should i really study and try to achieve 90% this last 2 weeks?

Another thing, I was talking with a friend and she said that her brother got around 95% when he did the exam, and because of that he received a golden card, is this true?

Thanks in advance!

Enthuware exams are on average harder than the actual test, so if you are getting 80 in the enthuware test, you should pass the actual exam easily.

You must really study, don`t be soothing. Real exam is difficult.
last day repeat 2 minute drill and optionally your notes and have good sleep.
good luck.
about gold card - I get 96% but have no gold card, may be it given only for 95%

Hi Mateus,

First of all, a warm welcome to CodeRanch!

If you regularly score 80% or more on Enthuware's mock exams, you'll definitely do well and almost certainly will pass the OCAJP exam. But that doesn't mean you should stop studying right now, just keep studying and repeating the things you learnt. Focus a little bit more on your weaker objectives/points.

I passed with 95% and I received a nice eCertificate (and a paper one after I made a request), but not a golden card.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel

Another reason to keep practicing/studying is so your score doesn't go down. You don't want to forget what you've learned in the two weeks between now and the exam!

Good luck. We look forward to hearing that you passed in two weeks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
