I've been putting together a guide for the Certification Exam based on the objectives set forth by BEA (9 sections). It's in the format of links to supporting documents, and milestones to be met for each section.
I would be interested to know from anyone who has taken the exam, or is currently studying for the exam, what you think of it (the layout, the logic, does it look like a viable path for passing the exam, etc.). Any suggestions or criticisms at all would be appreciated!
If you're interested, send me an email or respond as such to this message, and I'll send over a copy (zipped word doc, 28kb).

Due to the great demand, I've set up a website where users may download the guide, currently at:
This may change to be hosted at, so if it does I'll just add a redirect. I might add a mock exam, and some additional tutorials, and anything else that may seem pertinent, so check back often.
Thanks to all of you who have requsted the guide and given feedback, and especially the JavaRanch. I appreciate your help! I hope in some way I've helped others become proficient in WebLogic Server.
