Book :: Additional Design patterns query

Hi

Book do covers good range of Design patterns. Thanks for spending efforts for us to explain these design patterns. I like the way book has been structured.
But there are still some design patterns which could have been added to book like Proxy pattern and Template Method design pattern (to name few).
Was there any specific reason behind not adding Proxy and Template Method design pattern in book ?

Hi Abhay

The list of design patterns that could have been included is extensive, GoF identified 24 and since the publication of their book many more have been developed. We chose the patterns that have a definitely different implementation in Enterprise Edition. We did not want to repeat what can be easily found in other books, but rather to bring something new to the design pattern space.
