As for topic subject, I wonder if a wbsocket library for Java SE exists, and if anybody here may suggest me which adopt - if any.

The Spring framework has support for websockets, see for example this tutorial: Using WebSocket to build an interactive web application

Thanks Jesper for your reply... i'd prefer avoid Spring if possible. Is there any alternative ?

Maybe I found a solution: I may try to use Glassfish standard implementation (tyrus), as far as I understand is for both server and client sides, I'll focus more on the client side of this stuff..

I tried both tyrus (client side) and Wildfly ( server side) , all right.
