Hi all,

I just passed the exam today with 80%. It took me 3 months to learn and now I would like to share my thought here.
PROGRESS:
First I carefully learn Mala Gupta's OCP Java SE 7 Programmer II Certification Guide.
During the first time I read this book I just try to understand (but not try to remember).
Then for the second time I started to remember.
The third time I noted all things that I forget in the second time.
Then I use Enthuware test and my scores were NOT good (50% of the time I failed the 65% requirement because they are not in the book!). I use this test studio more like a source for my learning.
Anytime I have leisure time I review my notes.
I took no worth-mentioned coding (almost no code) but because I have a strong background of coding in C & C++.

COMMENT:
I thought this book is not enough for knowledge of the Collection, the Concurrent, Stream, RowSet, Parallel Fork/Join framework.

Collection: missing several implementations.
Concurrent: obviously not enough, more like a short introduction.
Stream: the most important which is missing is RandomAccessFile (I have a question on my real exam about this!!)
RowSet: Missing the basic characteristics of JdbcRowSet, CachedRowSet,... (I have them questioned in my real exam, too!!)
Parallel Fork/Join framework: I personally think not enough to explain why it has advantages over thread pool so I googled and read some. The question about this topic is just swapping the position of join and compute function, easy

For Enthuware test, there are some questions I think their topics will not be asked in the exam (like Serialization, create/modify file using class Files, etc) so if you failed just ignore them, no need to learn.

The real test is much easier than Enthuware with very less trick to trap you.

Thank you for reading my post and happy learning!

One more: There are quite a lot of questions which have enormous number of code line. Prepare your self!

I prepare now but i think for me it be much more time.
Thanks for describe of coverage Mala Gupta's OCP Java SE 7 Programmer II Certification Guide.
now read K&B some topic like Concurrent, Parallel Fork/Join framework, RowSet for my think not enough (but i just start prepare). now make some pause and read jdbc specification (about 220 pages - for deeper knowledge of jdbc) .

I think I need to reply one more to prevent potential of misunderstanding: Although Gupta's book is not completely cover the exam as I wrote above it is still an excellent learning book. Most of my necessary knowledge (in both levels) come from her books. If you want the certification seriously, I definitely recommend it!
