Hello Good People

Please i need help!!

I made an application in netbeans and it has a database (i used mysqlite), the application works very fine and the database updates perfectly.

i then clean and build to make jar file and i pasted a copy of my mysqlite database into the same folder(dist) that contains the jar file (in preparation to make an installer)
when i run the jar file, it ran perfectly but the database doesn't update, it's shows the last data i inserted before i made the jar file.

What am i doing wrong please help!!!

You have managed to post in the wrong place; I shall move this discussion in the hope of getting it in the right place.

Start by telling us some details. We need to knowous. what you are doing before we know what you are doing wrong.
How did you create the .jar file?
What is this about copying and pasting? That looks disastrous.

@Campbell Ritchie

I made the .jar file using clean and build in netbeans

the application displays a logo
when the user change the logo it is saved to the database
and when the application is closed and re-open the new logo is displayed.

The application is working very fine before making the jar file

but when i wanted to make an installer i made jar file first and run the application using the jar file,
everything works well but the image does not save to the database.

Hope i made a better explanation this time

And does the .jar have a classpath for that database? Is the database copied into the .jar?
