Configuration of Weblogic Application Server with iplanet as webserver

In our Application ,We have to use IPlanet for the web server and weblogic for an app server such that the IPlanet runs on one machine and it can communicate with weblogic app server.mr jim talked about one plug is to be used for this.which is that and where to get it from.could you also brief me something about it like how to configure the thing and what are the advantages of this kind of configuration?

I think you must be talking about NSAPI. The Netscape Enterprise Server Plug-In enables requests to be proxied from Netscape Enterprise Server (NES, also called iPlanet) to WebLogic Server.
See section 11 of the WLS 6 Admin Guide for more info.

i too have a similar requirement. I have to configure the iPlanet web server to communicate with the Weblogic application server. I visited the site "WLS 6 Admin Guide" which provides methods for Installation and Configuration of the two . After configuring my obj.conf file, how do i access a sample jsp, say /exampleWebApp/HelloWorld.jsp ?

you should just change the port to the webserver url for example:
if you are calling test.jsp on your app server you will call it this way : http://localhost ort/examplesWebApp/test.jsp
when you run it using webserver all you have to do is: http://localhost/webserver/examplesWebbApp/test.jsp
