I'm creating a simple dynamic hello world web project. I'm using eclipse Luna with JBOSS 6.3 server. the application runs fine on my local server. Displays hello world page. We have a test box (window sever 2012 , running JBOSS 6.3) When I deploy the same war on this box I get a.....

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

We are new to JBOSS and are in the process of converting apps from weblogic to a test JBOSS environment. I have checked the logs and there is nothing except the successful deployment of the war.
We have two other apps we have converted to JBOSS that were built using Spring MVC and they run fine on JBOSS. Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Dynamic Web Module 2.5
JBoss Web Services Core 3.0
JBOSS EAP 6.3 Runtime
JDK 1.6

What is the exact URL that you are using to access the resource, that's throwing 404 error? Also post the relevant logs from the server which shows the application being successfully deployed.

this is now resolved. We had to update a properties file called 'uriworkermap.properties' with

# Requests to /HelloworldApp
/HelloworldApp |/*=worker01

I have gone to look for myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here with this tiny ad:
