Usage of tiles in Spring 3

I am migrating my Struts application to Spring 3. I need to use Tiles. Is the following change in spring-servlet.xml enough or do I need to change any other things.



tiles-def.xml is already available in my Struts application with following code

Posting my findings here so that somebody else might be benefited.

Whatever I have given in my original post was usage of Tiles version 1 otherwise called as Struts-tiles. Nowadays everybody has started using advanced version of Tiles. So thats a good idea to use Tiles2. And the following links are good tutorials to be followed for Tiles implementation with Spring

Viral patel tutorial

So following that, I had to make changes in the following files for a conversion from Struts to Spring with Tiles2:

  • pom.xml
  • web.xml
  • spring-servlet.xml
  • tiles-def.xml
  • urJsp.jsp
