We have a scenario in which a particular user's password has expired and the user tries to login to the system with a wrong password. In this case we are getting an error code LDAP_INVALID_CREDENTIALS (49) and error message - 'Error, Password has expired"
But if the user has entered a wrong password we don't want to show the user "Error, Password has expired" instead we want to display the error message "Invalid credentials". Is there a way to get a specific error code/message “Invalid credentials” from LDAP(IBM TDS) if the user enters invalid password and the user’s password is expired.
