Projects for learning Design Patterns

I'm just curious if this site has a list of projects that one can develop to practice design patterns. For example, design a pizza chain with these specific blah blah blah, but use factory, observer, etc. Write a _____ application that uses ___ design pattern, and _____ design pattern?

I began learning about MVC, and decided to make a calculator app that uses MVC. So now I want to keep going with the design patterns.

If not here, is there a source of project ideas on the net that I can work off of?

returned a good list of candidate tutorials.

Tastes vary, but this one looked pretty good to me.
