Hi,
We are using DRCP on oracle11g.
After changing in ds.xml we are not able to get connections from database .
Below is my ds.xml file
-----------------------------
<local-tx-datasource>
<jndi-name>oltpDS</jndi-name>
<connection-url>jdbcracle:thin:@IP:PORT:serviceName:POOLED</connection-url>
<driver-class>oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource</driver-class>
<user-name>abc</user-name>
<password>xyz</password>
<exception-sorter-class-name>org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleExceptionSorter</exception-sorter-class-name>
<check-valid-connection-sql>select 1 from dual</check-valid-connection-sql>
<min-pool-size>5</min-pool-size>
<max-pool-size>15</max-pool-size>
<metadata>
<type-mapping>Oracle10g</type-mapping>
</metadata>
</local-tx-datasource>

-----------------------------
Kindly tell me driverName or connectionUrl to use DRCP from DB

oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource is not the driver class, you should use oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver (which apparently has replaced oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver).

You don't have an actual IP:PORT in there, do you? Those are supposed to be replaced by the IP address or host name, and port number respectively. The default Oracle port is 1521.

And why are you still using an old version of EAP? EAP 6.3 has been out quite a while already, currently at 6.3.3 if you have paid support.

Database for our application is oracle 11g and driver which we are using for connectivity is jdbc thin.Which is not supporting to DRCP.
DRCP is totally handled by database and driver .oracle 11g fails to use DRCP with jdbc thin.
I have one question same driver and same database we are using Tomcat6.0 .It is supporting DRCP but JBOSS is not supporting.
