Hello,

I would like to use an IDE to create, edit and view XML and XSD, generate a simple XML file from a XSD and intuitive XSD editor. All of this available in XML Spy. But that costs an astronomical sum. Is there a simpler open source tool?

Thanks,
Rajesh

I believe most IDE (like Eclipse, Netbeans, Notepad++) can let you view and edit XML and XSD files.

The thing I noticed with these is that it may not provide you the hints/auto-complete of tags and stuff.
