Can anyone recommend a good Python book for a seasoned Java developer? I'm looking for something that will teach me the language as well as things like testing frameworks/how to write unit tests and run them, and that sort of thing.
Head First Python will give you a quick and wide-ranging introduction to Python, including a look at using the Django web app framework with Google App Engine.
Python comes with its own testing framework unittest which is similar to JUnit. One of the great things about Python is this "batteries included" philosophy. Check out the Zen of Python to get your mind in tune with the Pythonic way of doing things.
