Hi there

I have a question in mind regarding the design architecture of android app.I am sending data from my android application to server

When data is send to server then server will send status of success or failure to android user.

My question is I want to notify android user about sucess or failure of process.
I have 3 approach in mind for this
1)Show Notification on Notification Bar.
2)Show a Toast message.
3)Show an Alert Dialog.

I am a little bit confuse which will be best idea to notify user about success or failure of a process?

Thanks

When I am confounded by such usability questions, I usually fall back on the axiom, what is the user used to right now
What is the UX, when you send an email from the android device? How do you get a feedback from the gmail app? Toast? Notification?Dialog?

This, very much this.

It's one of the things that some cross-device apps get very wrong.
Shoe-horning the UX of an app written for iOS into an Android device, or vice versa.
