Hi

I'm working on an assignment to convert pdf to tif images. I couldn't really find a free library that converts directly over to tif, so I'm first converting each page to png then to tif.

But doing it this way, it takes about 45min to convert 1200 pages to tif. Is this normal? I'm using about 8 threads but I never worked with images extensively before, so would like some feedback

Thanks!
