Hello ranchers

Have any one done migration from VB6 or VB.NET to java 6+?

I asked this because projects at currently using VB and they plan to switch java. I don't know if using migration tools is better or simply rewriting the whole thing again in java.

I'm sure each approach has its good and bad points.

Any one has any suggestions?

Maybe it's better to still use .net?
It's small chance to migrate automatically from vb.net to java without many errors. And I think, there is no such tool, that allows you migrate from .net to java automatically.

Right but that won't happen in the near future. So probably rewriting the project in java may be a way to go.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
