How to limit web service call? Example have only 1000 web service call for this day.

I need to limit the web service call for my method. Interceptors is not available in my Java EE version.

Is that total number of calls per day from all users or calls per identifiable user per day?

What have you tried so far?

It is from all users. I have read about interceptors but our Java version does not support that.

Could you give a little background about your webservice method? Which framework or library you use to deploy the service? Which Java EE version you are using?

You could hook up the Spring AOP for intercepting the web service method call.
