J.S. Bach is probably my favorite musician. He just seems to have gotten it right all the time. My favorite from him so far (I haven't heard everything from him) is his Brandenberg concerto No. 3 G major. Good piece to help you wake up in the morning.

I once had a boss who was a descendant of one of Bach's daughters. I wanted to marry his sister and make t-shirts for my kids that say "My grandfather was the greatest musician who ever lived and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".
 
My favorite is a chocolate cupcake with white frosting and tiny ad sprinkles.
