Hi team,

I am planning to take OCJP certification by July. I am confused whether I should take certification in Java 6 or 7. I have more work experience on Java 6.

Please help.

Thanks in Advance!

IMO, if you are familiar with the Java 7 exam objectives, then you can go for the Java 7 exam. If you are not familiar with Java 7 objectives, then this is a good opportunity to learn something new and then go for the Java 7 exam

Or, if you are not familiar with Java 7 objectives, then you can go for Java 6 exam, then there will be a good opportunity to learn something new and then go for the Java 7 upgrade exam.
