Welcome Sean, Peter and Matthew - I have been waiting for this book for quite sometime. I am really looking forward to an exhaustive coverage of the Trident APIs for Apache Storm. None of the existing references/books have managed to tame the Trident framework; even the official Storm documentation site covers very little about the Trident framework. I hope that this book fills that much needed gap.

Thanks guys!

Hey Swaranga, chapter 9 focuses on Trident. To be honest, exhaustive coverage of Trident would probably span multiple chapters. What we present in chapter 9 covers when you might want to use Trident, providing an example implementation that includes both Trident and Storm DRPC. Would love to hear your thoughts on what you liked and what you thought was missing.
