Looks like your WEB-INF/lib folder has some zip files in it. That won't do, you have to use jar files only.

So are those zip files which contain the jar and some other stuff when unzipped, or are they just the jar files which have been renamed with the wrong extensions? At any rate you'll have to either extract the jar files from them, or do whatever is necessary to get the jar files into WEB-INF/lib.

Hi

My Problem is solved I download jar from here
http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/j/Downloadjstl12jar.htm

Problem is Jar size
If you just type Jstl jar download there are many versions of jar file
if you write exact phrase
"JSTL 1.2 jar download" you will get to this URL

I have not done any editing in neither in web.xml file like setting tld file.
Just Simply download Jar from this location and paste Inside WEB-INF/lib/ directory

and you can access tags

Now I have one question although if taglib is access through local jar files then why we declare URI like this ?
http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core

Thanks

It's a URI, not a URL. (Check out what those acronyms mean.)

Let's suppose you want to use some taglibs. Then you're going to have to identify the ones you want to use.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
