Hello guys, I am having 1.5 years of exp in java (struts2) including other web technologies(php, javascript, jquery, css and html). Some people said struts2 (or even spring) are old technologies so shift to some CRM(salesforce) or go to android dev, while some other say stick with. So now I am deciding to go with android (because it also uses java and I am learn it fast).
As my exp is very less, can you guys help me out with this situation. Mainly I am asking "will shifting to android be benefecial now".
Thanks.

What I personally feel(may differ from other) is you should not listen to anyone. Do whatever you feel you are good at.
First learn android at home and if you find it more interesting than struts then definitely go for it.

There is ofcourse no clear, objective answer to this question - the only answers you will get for a question like this are opinions.

It also depends on your personal preference. Would you like writing apps for mobile phones, tablets and other devices? Then it's definitely interesting to look at Android. But only you can answer that question for yourself.

Hello,

With the technology stack you already know (i.e. php, javascript, jquery, css and html), it could be interesting to learn how to develop REST Apis in the cloud, like for example Google Endpoints and use the web technology to consume these API from a web page.
