I have an application and i am getting this exception:
javax.transaction.RollbackException: Global transaction timed out after 300 seconds. I am using springs transaction. My question is should i not get a spring transactionException if i had a transaction timed out ?

Not enough information to say yes or no. But if that is the exception you see, then that is what is being thrown.
