I have a connection with a remote computer which is being used to run a program allocated to it remotely by me in a client server architecture, utilizing the ProcessBuilder class. Now, if I wish to allocate a specific amount of RAM for this process to use in order to run, how may I do so ?
What application are you running remotely? Does it have any provision for limiting memory? What is the actual problem here (i.e. a Java application reporting an out of memory exception)?
