Hi,

I am working on a project and hope to used in embedded hardware. We hope to decrease the memory and CPU usage for the application. I am wondering if we could use J2ME to replace the standard JVM. I am new to J2ME, and hope to understand some basic conecpt/ question for J2ME.

1, Will J2ME use different JVM than standard Java application?
2, Will that be helpful for Java pplcaition move to J2ME container for memory and CPU usage?
3, To transfer the Java standard application to J2ME , what is the step or process we need to do?

Thanks for any suggestions and comments!
