Load Serialized String Array from DB

if am loading a string field from a postgres database:

{"line1","line2","line3"}

whats the easiest way to load that field content into a string array?
i'm not sure if this is a serialized string array but somehow i'm failing on this simple task...

Hi Florian, welcome to Java Ranch!

If you are using JDBC, the ResultSet has getArray() methods. Have you tried those? I don't have a way to test with Postgres right now, but that should work.
