Is OCP Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer II by Jeanne Boyarsky available yet?

Hi All,

Is any one aware of Java certification guide - OCP Java SE 8 Programmer II available in the market yet ? In one of the India's leading online store, I see a book of length 800 pages that combines I & II OCA and OCP respectively by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff . I didn't find any details of OCP part II yet on the Sybex website itself. Can I trust this product ?

It was intended to have both parts (OCA and OCP) in 1 book. But because the OCP exam objectives were not available yet a few months ago, the publisher decided to publish the study guide in 2 parts: one for the OCA exam which is already available and another one for the OCP exam which is still work in progress and thus not yet available.

The OCP book is due out in December. As Roel points out the OCA/OCP book doesn't exist. Amazon.in took it down ages ago.

Which website has the wrong link? If it is an English based website, I'll email them to take down the bad link. If it is not an English based website, can you do it? I wouldn't want people to be mislead.

Ironically, we had a one star review on the site. I suppose for its lack of existence? Hard to have a bad review for something that doesn't exist!

Yeah, I noticed it as well. It seems the non-existing study guide got 1 star based on no reviews. Probably dark forces at work!
