I'm 2 weeks into JSP and till now im just trying to know how things work. I dont know yet how to make the scriptletless JSP. I intend on learning it after this is done.
(Was already too deep into this when i heard first of scriptless JSP)
Very Sorry for the Long Post
But i'd really appreciate it if anyone would take some time to look at it.
Im trying to do this but i dont know how to do it (Note the picture is not exactly of what I'm making, but basically its the same)

Every one of my attempts are no good.

So i tried to make it into a 2 level form (First page take name and address and the next page take the apartment choices and submit them all together to the third page where they are processed)

but none of my efforts worked and now my code is a mess. Please i need some points on how to do this. I'd be really grateful if anyone could help.

The problem I'm facing :
the information is passed from page 1 just fine. but when i try to do exactly the same thing on the second page, it doesn't wait for the input and just directly goes to the third page, making all info to be entered on the 2nd page take up null value.

Code for Page 1 (Name is NewBooking.jsp)

Code for Forward.jsp

Code for Page 2 (NewBooking2.jsp)

The Third Page (Book.java) (Servlet)

(All other methods are working fine. All were tested individually)

Spending time trying to fix this mess of scriptlets in your JSP is not worth your time (or ours). The time to learn how to write scriptless JSPs using the JSTL and EL is now.

Why spend further time learning bad habits?
