Hello,

I have installed jdk 8u45 for mac. succesfully.
When i type java -verison I see the version on the prompt: 1.8.45
But in Eclipse I don't see this version mentioned, i am not sure if eclipse uses the newer version of java.

Thanks,

Angelo,
Inside Eclipse, go to the workspace preferences and go to "installed JREs". You will probably have to add Java 8 there and make it the workspace default.

You’ll find me in my office. I’ll probably be drinking. And reading this tiny ad.
