Git in Eclipse

I do have the 'Eclipse Git Team Provider' in the installed software but I do not see the Git under Window → Preferences → Team?
Any idea what has gone wrong? or am I supposed to install anything more?

I am just learning/starting to use Git; earlier I have used CVS NT.

What version of Eclipse do you have? If not the latest, did you install the EGit plugin? In fact, I'd recommend going to Eclipse Marketplace in Eclipse and seeing if it will let you install Egit.

Hi Jeanne Boyarsky,

I have the Luna release (4.4.2).
If I go to marketplace and search for EGit: EGit - Git Team provider 4.01 is already installed.
I have not installed the GitBlit and GitHub Mylyn connector. Are they also required?
