Hello, I'm new with Spring framework and I'm learning it from tutorials online.

I'm trying to make a simple application but when I run the project I get this error:

It means, you are missing apache commons logging library on your classpath.

Thank you for the answer, Prasad.
I did included Apache commons logging trough dependencies and it still doesn't work.
Here is the dependency I used
http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/commons-logging/commons-logging/1.2

Assuming you are working on web application, have to included it to WEB-INF/lib directory of your application?

If its not web application, then you have to include it to your runtime classpath.

Are you sure you are copying the apache commons logging jar to WEB-INF/lib? can you verify it, by extracting the war file and checking it.
