First off, i am a fan of head first series, started my career reading HF Java, then got Design Patterns, now I'm into Android Applications Development, and been thinking when will this book should happen. Finally it did.
I'm less doing programming for Android now but I'm waiting to read something that will revitalize my skills on Android and be refreshed again to have me back on track with the platform I like - Android.
Can't wait to read this book.
Just wondering what are the difference between normal Android available books out there?
I just wanted to know how did they create the book in terms of Android being fragmented (still) and to let readers have a mindset that this isn't a problem anymore, with this Head First Android which i think will have a continuous editions.
It's always good to meet a fan! We love the series too. I think the thing about this book that is different is this:
Most Android books will teach you the same kinds of things. But the focus in Head First is very much on the "why" as well as the "what". We work very hard to build your motivation while you're reading the book, so that you don't start to flag at the end of chapter 3. We want to get you from page 1 right the up to page 698 (which, we think, is the last page???).

Head First Android Development
yes, that is why I am waiting for the HF Android ( if there are any before) now it happened. I was working with Android since 2008, and did new stuff as time goes by, read some books but they are fairly straightforward. I have fun reading this HF so i am into waiting to have this happened.
I know this would be early but this is not the first and last edition... i know it isn't hehe.
